Drop In

Need some help or information? Come to Drop In.

This service is for all Deaf and hard of hearing people, their families, the general community and service providers.

You can see a Drop In Worker for free. The can help you do something, give you information or tell you who can give you advice.

They can help you with:

  • explaining forms, letters and other documents
  • assistance with filling in forms
  • referrals to other services
  • talking about problems at home, school or work
  • making appointments with other services
  • making an appointment to see a Deaf Society community worker to discuss a more serious problem

Drop In is for simple tasks that you can do together in one visit.

Many people use this service. This means there is only a limited time a Drop In Worker can spend with each person.
