This office was established in 2008 to support Deaf people in the South Coast, covering
- the Illawarra
- South Coast (eg. Wollongong, Nowra, Bega, Cooma)
- Southern and Central Tablelands (e.g. Goulburn, Mittagong, Queanbeyan)
Services include community development, support and information, advocacy, and referrals to other organisations.
A Drop In service is available Albion Park Rail every
- Monday from 9am to 11am
- Monday after 11am by appointment
- Tuesday by appointment only
Nowra Drop In operates on once every three months from 10am to 2pm at the Nowra Neighbourhood Centre, 134 Kinghorne Rd, Nowra. Coming dates are are 7th December 2010, 1st March 2011, 7th June 2011, 6th September 2011, 6th December 2011.

The Deaf Society supports Deaf community events in the local regions. Regular local events include:
- The South Coast Deaf Social Group meets regularly for a variety of different social activities (including picnics, bush walks, camping)
- Deaf Coffee Cafe and Tea - 10am every 3rd Sunday of each month at the Kiama Market Day - meet for coffee and a browse through the markets
- Deaf Seniors meet for activities three times a year
- "Wing and Pears" Coffee Shop, cnr Juntion and Berry Sts, Nowra - 10am-12 noon, first Friday of each month
