The Deaf Society supports Deaf people in the Hunter / Central Coast, covering the area from Berowra (in the South) to Forster (in the North) and out to the Hunter Valley (in the West).
Services include community development, support and information, advocacy, and referrals to other organisations. The Deaf Society enjoys good access to TAFE, WEA and University in these regions.
Newcastle - Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:30am to 3.30pm. Appointments can be made for Mondays and Wednesdays.

Employment Service The Deaf Society also provides Employment Services from our Central Coast office. An Employment Officer works from Niagara Park several days a week. For more information, click here.

Events The Deaf Society supports Deaf community events in the local regions. Regular local events include:
A social club for Seniors which meets every Wednesday at Hamilton North Bowling club. This is a very good opportunity for Deaf senior citizens to meet their friends on a regular weekly basis.
Regular monthly social outings at West Leagues Club on the third Saturday of every month.
