What the Deaf Community Says

Deaf Australia, formerly known as the Australian Association of the Deaf (AAD), is Australia's peak organisation for people in Australia who are Deaf and use Auslan (Australian Sign Language) as their primary means of communication. It represents the views of the Australian Deaf community.

The Deaf Society of NSW, as an organisation that provides support services to and information about the Deaf community, supports the views and perspectives of Deaf Australia in its understanding and representation of the Deaf community of NSW.
