The Deaf Society wants deaf children and Deaf parents to have access to education programs and parenting information that:

• are easily accessible
• are more particularly relevant to deafness
• take into account the impact deafness and hearing loss have on family life

The Deaf Society balances its parenting programs and information to give equal opportunity to parents of deaf children and Deaf parents.

For deaf children:
We present information seminars for Deaf and hearing parents of deaf children on a range of topics of interest.

For Deaf Parents:
We run well-known and evaluated parenting programs such as:

• Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)
• Toddlers: Terrible or Terrific?

to Deaf parents directly in Auslan and to hearing parents of deaf children.
