Communication is the foundation of human experience. We all need to express our needs, our wants, to understand others and to develop relationships. However for communication to be effective, we must share a common language. For many Deaf people, the most frustrating thing is NOT being unable to hear, it is the difficulty in communicating with the general community. The Deaf Society of NSW is the major welfare organisation providing support services to the members of the Deaf Community across NSW.
